Leading Company is seeking hands on Maintenance Foreman to join their Maintenance team in the New Year. This position will report to the Senior Plant Engineer.
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 N6 qualification Trade Tested Fitter and Turner Minimum 7 years hands on experience as an Artisan Minimum 3 years Management experience Must be able to produce statement of results for qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO): Management of staff members Maintenance inspections KPI reviews Facilitate, authorize, and approve relevant Job Cards Conduct routine maintenance inspections Ensure accurate delegation of tasks Respond to urgent / priority maintenance issues such as breakdowns, unforeseen circumstances and machine stoppages Control of maintenance costs, and expenses according to budget Calculation of cost centers for plant engineer Control of budgets, and expenses per machine and the department as a whole Control and measurement of overheads in department Correspond with relevant suppliers and/or service providers and contractors Request and receive relevant quotations and/or price lists from suppliers Maintain and improve administrative forms in department Maintain accurate and up to date machine files / operating manual and record keeping for individual machines
